Top prices at the Ekestrian Elite Auction: a €16,700 average and a straw (semen dose) auctioned for €10,000!

The Ekestrian team is proud to announce that once again, more than 60% of the lots at its Elite Auction were sold abroad: buyers were in Germany, Canada, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom…

More than 50% of the lots were sold the night of the auction at a strong average price of €16,700 (excl. taxes) for embryos and broodmares.

Some highlights:
An incredible lot: the most wanted sample of Cor de la Bryere, sold for €10,000 exc. taxes and sales fees! This lot owned by an exceptional breeder in Italy is going to France to a top breeder who grabbed this unique opportunity.

Our Canadian friends got themselves the top price of this auction: Eau de Tame, €22,000 exc. taxes exc. sales fees, broodmare in foal to Cornet Obolensky, sister of the performers Panama Tame and Quebec Tame. Another great price: the embryo by Baloubet du Rouet x Cornet Obolensky out of Usha van’t Roosakker’s damline, is heading to Germany.

The foal to be born by Mylord Carthago x Quickly de Kreisker is flying to the United Kingdom to a top sport stud. A great battle took place for the straws/samples of Quel Homme de Hus and Viking d’la Rousserie. Congrats to the buyers!

The mareline of Itot du Château stays in France: Ermine de Rance, broodmare in foal to Dollar du Rouet and granddaughter of Sophie du Château goes to Charlotte Gandon at Haras du Pachavert.

The Ekestrian team thanks again all the other buyers and breeders at this auction for their trust!

To the attention of the breeders: the 2019 selections are still going on. Send your full applications for your foals to be born, broodmares and 2/3 y.o. horses at eleveur@ekestrian.com (name of the horse, sire, dam, sire of dam, age or due date, location, reserve price, pictures and videos).
