Ladies & Gentleman Tour: a new tour to discover at the GRANDPRIX CLASSIC!

In May, the Grand Parquet in Fontainebleau, France will host the annual GRANDPRIX CLASSIC show jumping event. Following the FEI Jumping Nations Cup (Youth), a CSI 2*, a CSI 1*, a CSI Amateurs and a CSI Young Horses will be organized from May 9–12. And on this occasion, a new tour will be launched: the Ladies & Gentlemen Tour. Discover it below!

A new tour for riders of the CSI 1*

The Ladies & Gentlemen Tour includes three classes in the CSI 1* (one per day). But these classes are closed to the riders entered into the CSI 2*, allowing the riders taking part of the Ladies & Gentlemen Tour to be “protected” from them. Indeed, usually, a rider of the CSI 2* can also participate to the CSI 1*. With this new tour, riders will be able to compete without fearing the competition of riders from higher labels.

The three classes of the Ladies & Gentlemen Tour will be held on Le Petit Parquet (grass arena): on Friday, May 10 (1.30m), Saturday May 11 (1.30m) and on Sunday the 12th(1.35m).

It’s time to make your request!

Each rider can enter two horses in the Ladies & Gentlemen Tour, and therefore participate in each class with their two horses, including the finale with jump-off. The rider will also be able to enter others horses in the regular classes of the CSI 1*, with up to three horses entered per rider in the CSI 1* (Ladies & Gentlemen Tour included).

To be part of the Ladies & Gentlemen Tour, make you request to your National Federation (NF) through the FEI Entry System, and notify them that you want to participate in the Ladies and Gentlemen Tour.

During the show, any horse entered in the Ladies & Gentlemen Tour will be able to leave it. You just have to notify the show office, and you will be able to enter your horse in the lower or higher classes of the CSI 1*.

Entries are open so it’s time to make your request to your NF! You have until April 29.

As is the case every year, GRANDPRIX CLASSIC will continue in July: the GRANDPRIX CLASSIC Summer Tour will take place from July 18–28 for a CSI 2*, a CSI 1*, a CSI Young Horses and a CSI Amateurs. The Ladies & Gentlemen Tour will also take place at this moment.
