France's Kevin Staut aiming high at upcoming World Cup Final

French show jumper Kevin Staut has spoken about his ambitions for the upcoming 2019 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Final in Gothenburg, Sweden, from April 3–7.

“This World Cup Final is the conclusion of one of the most important competition circuits for me each year, the other being the Nations Cup,” the World No.14 recently told his national federation. “This year, for my 10th straight Final, my goal is the podium, and my mindset heading into the competition is serene.”

As a reminder, the top-ranked French show jumper has finished in the Top 8 at the World Cup Final four times, including one podium finish. Indeed, it was at the Scandinavium in Gothenburg where the Team Olympic champion took third place with Silvana*HDC. Kevin Staut is thus aiming for no lower than his result from six years ago at the upcoming rendezvous.
