Just 21 entries as of now – but some stiff competition.

That is the current outlook for this coming Saturday’s $391,000 Palm Beach Equine Clinic GP CSI 5* at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Florida. 

Scheduled for the International Arena at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center at 7 p.m. local time, the current entries list for this Week 7 class features numerous top riders, including:

Shane Sweetnam
Jessica Springsteen
Mario Deslauriers
Margie Engle 
Daniel Coyle
Karen Polle
Kent Farrington
Daniel Bluman 
Lorenzo De Luca
William Whitaker
Charlie Jacobs
Paul O’Shea

Among the battle-tested mounts entered are Farrington's Creedance and De Luca's Armitages Boy. The full list is here. Recently in a similar marquee class at the WEF, Switzerland's star pair Martin Fuchs and Clooney came out on top of the competition, just edging out Farrington and Gazelle in second. On Friday, other well-known riders like Rodrigo Pessoa (on Farrero) and Beat Mandli (Simba) will compete in the $36,000 CSI5* 1.45m class, also in the International Arena.
