Last week, the Dutch city of Ermelo hosted the World Championships for young dressage horses. And at the CHIO in Aachen in July, the world’s best show-jumping horses competed in perhaps the most coveted Grand Prix on the planet. Exceptional horses with exceptional genes. Genes that also define this fifth collection of the PS-Online Foal Auction, which is set to run through August 21.

In Ermelo, Villeneuve, the son of Vitalis, impressed observers with his fantastic speed, expression, elasticity and amazing rideability. And Villeneuve, the runner-up in the World Championship for six-year-olds, will have three of his half-brothers in the latest online auction. These sons of the exceptional sire Vitalis all have amazing dressage bloodlines in their maternal lines as well. Among the seven-year-old World Championship competitors in Ermelo, two of the medal winners on the podium were sired by one of the most popular stallions in the world, Fürstenball – with modern and high-quality bloodlines. And two colts by Fürstenball were selected for the PS-Online Auction.

Aachen, July 22, 2018: In front of 40,000 spectators, five exceptional show-jumping horses fought for victory in the jump-off of the Grand Prix. Out of the five who were clear in the tough first two rounds, showing wonderful skills, two were sired by Balou du Rouet. The same Balou du Rouet who is regularly ranked amongst the Top Ten sires of the world, and is – of course – represented in the PS Foal Auction collection. The combination of the world-class genes of Big Star and Eldorado v.d. Zeshoek also brings a sparkle to the eyes of show-jumping experts. The filly Big Eldacenta, born in June, combines these genes with chicness and charm.

The fifth PS-Online Foal Auction is also all about modern, performance-oriented breeding. The auction, which started out as a pilot project last year, has successfully established itself in a very short time. The concept is effective and offers a win-win situation for all participants: the breeder, the customers looking for foals and, most importantly, the mares and foals themselves. No travel stress. No rush. A relaxed, user-friendly format to watch and bid for a selection of amazing foals wherever you are in the world.

From August 11–21, you can check out the foals on – in videos, with photos and descriptions, their pedigree and a veterinary inspection certificate. Anyone wishing to bid can easily register in a few clicks and submit a bid. The bidder will be informed via e-mail or text (optional) when he or she is the highest bidder, or if someone else has submitted a higher bid.
