This summer, if you are looking for the perfect horse, come to the Verden Auction, organised by the Hannoveraner Verband. The 158 horses presented at the auction will be brought together at Verden on July 2. They will be trained and presented daily until the auction on Friday, July 13 for Show Jumping foals and Show Jumping horses, and on Saturday the 14th for Dressage foals and Dressage horses. Each horse has been carefully chosen for its athletic abilities, but also its character. They also have been vet-checked by the auction vet.

During these 13 days, everyone can ask for a riding test with their favorite horse and request x-rays and videos in order to know everything about the mount for auction day.

In addition to the Verden Auction, there are numerous activities in Verden during the summer. One major event, for example, is the Verden International taking place from July 31–August 5, which includes the Herwart van der Decken Schau, the Hannoverian Championships and Dressage and Showjumping competitions for horses of different ages, and where Riding, Dressage and Show Jumping champions will be crowned. And at the end of August, the Verdiana will be held for hobby riders: horses and dogs will be shown, including Icelandic, Friesian and cold blood horses, classic ponies and different classes for baroque riders.
