After the opening National competition last week, the Canadian Show Jumping institution describes the Continental as a great opportunity to watch world-class sport in a more “relaxed atmosphere.” In that vein, the main International Ring is not being used this week, while other parts of of the huge complex, like the Meadows on the Green, will welcome spectators.

Today, the preliminary FEI Jog, course designers meeting and other administrative activities are taking place at the Riding Hall and North Meadows office, as well as smaller classes in the Rocky Mountain Ring, All Alberta Ring and All Canada Ring. Over the several days of competition, obstacles will rise as high as 1.55 m, in Friday’s Scotiabank Cup.

The schedule for the Continental is here.
