CSI 5* Summer Series underway at Spruce Meadows

Elite level Show Jumping launches into action this week at one of the world’s leading venues for the sport, Spruce Meadows, just outside Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

The National CSI 5* takes place from June 6–10, and will be followed on subsequent weekends by the Continental (June 13–17), the Pan American (June 26–July 1) and the North American (July 4–8). Of course, the prestigious Masters CSIO 5* – part of the outdoor Grand Slam in the Olympic discipline – will take place at the start of September, from the 5th to 9th of that month.
Meetings were scheduled for riders, officials and course designers on Tuesday, with classes up to 1.30 m in the Chinook, All Canada and North American rings. Among the riders entered on the opening day are Mario Deslauriers. For broadcast details regarding some of the Grand Prix, see here.
