The $450,000 Longines FEI Nations Cup at the HITS Ocala Winter Circuit will be the first of three official qualifiers for the North and Central America & Caribbean division. Countries from the region will be aiming to pick up points towards qualification for the FEI Nations Cup Final, set to take place in Barcelona from October 4-7.

The Nations Cup is the most historic and prestigious team competition in Show Jumping, with countries around the world battling for the global title, which was won last year by Harrie Smolders and his Dutch teammates. The following qualifiers will take place on April 22 at Coapexpan, Mexico and on June 3 in Langley, British Columbia, Canada.

There are two places available for teams from the regional division in the Barcelona Final, which were secured last year by the United States and Canada. And the lists made public by the U.S., Canadian and Mexican federations for Ocala this month reflect their ambitions to make it back to Europe in October.

For Canada, the announced team is:
Ben Asselin
Tiffany Foster
Eric Lamaze
Ian Millar
Francois Lamontagne

For the United States:
Lauren Hough
Laura Kraut
Beezie Madden
Devin Ryan
McLain Ward

For Mexico:
