The show includes the $220,000 Longines FEI World Cup Jumping Wellington on Sunday, the penultimate qualifier for the North American League (East Coast). Among the elite competitors at Deeridge Farms in the Sunshine State from February 1-4 are McLain Ward, who already won the competition’s opening day $35,000 CP Welcome Stake with Hija van Strokapelleken.

"It’s the way we wanted to start off this week," Ward after his victory. "Hija was fantastic. I am very lucky to have this wonderful mare. This is beautiful event, the footing is phenomenal and the weather was great. We couldn’t ask for better conditions. I would like to thank Deeridge Farms and the Jacobs Family."

The Jacobs Family is owners Jerry and Peggy Jacobs and children Lou Jacobs, Charlie Jacobs and Katie Robinson, co-founders of the Palm Beach Masters Series. Charlie Jacobs is currently ranked 329th in the world.
