Gazelle is not the world's number one mare with Kent Farrington for nothing! Author of an exceptional season in 2017, the twelve-year-old BWP has indeed exceeded one million Euros in earnings thanks mainly to its six Grand Prix victories. Winner in Valencia, Calgary, Wellington, Madrid, Tryon or more recently in Geneva, the daughter of Kashmir van Schuttershof has  allowed her rider to collect exactly €1,026,435 in prize money. The last victory at the Palexpo in Geneve was really significant, since the couple pocketed 400,000 Swiss francs, or nearly 340,000 Euros just for that class.

Winner in Calgary, the most richly endowed Grand Prix in the world, L. B. Convall is logically in second place. Under the saddle of Philipp Weishaupt, the beautiful grey garnered 807 648 Euros in earnings this year, including more than 660 000 Euros thanks to his victory in Canada.

In third place, she was L.B. Convall's runner-up at Spruce Meadows, and she's back on the leaderboard again. Fit For Fun 13 in fact completes the podium of the richest horses of 2017 by totaling 710 244 Euros won of which more than half harvested in Calgary. Although she did not win any Grand Prix last year, For Pleasure's daughter still had excellent placings in Sopot, Aachen, but also in Rotterdam, where she finished fourth. .

Brilliant winner of the Omaha World Cup final in April and third at the CSIO 5 * Grand Prix in Calgary in September, HH Azur is in fourth place (710,244 Euros) in front of the winner of the same Grand Prix under the saddle of Grégory Wathelet, Coree (594,140 Euros). then comes Fine Lady, Eric Lamaze's brilliant accomplice, who totaled 581,045 Euros in 2017, Don VHP Z is seventh in this ranking thanks to a remarkably consistent season under the saddle of Harrie Smolders. The stallion is also the best of the medal-winning horses in the year to appear in this hierarchy.
