Retired champion friends Cedric and Quick Study to hang out this winter

Between them, they have won some of the biggest 5*-level Show Jumping competitions in the world, including the Olympic Games and Grands Prix in Dublin and Hamburg, but for retired stars Cedric and Quick Study, hanging out in the fields together is one of biggest thrills these days.

As Noelle Floyd Style reported, Laura Kraut's 19-year-old gelding Cedric and  Lauren Hough’s 18-year-old gelding Quick Study (aka “Joey”), were reunited in recent weeks at Aston Farm in the United Kingdom. And as Kraut told NF Style after posting the Instagram photo above, the 19- and 18-year-old buddies will be keeping each other company this winter:

“They’ve always loved each other. And next week before I go to Doha, we’re going to go down and they’re going to reunite, so they’re going to hang out for the winter. They’ve always loved each other and [Cedric] is going to be so excited when he sees him!” Indeed, as Kraut recently told Grand Prix Heroes magazine, Cedric has been enjoying his retirement, as can be seen in the photo below.
