Jung Tops World Eventing Rankings

Germany's Michael Jung finishes 2016 and heads into 2017 on top of the world Eventing rankings.

Jung, who has been decorated by his country at different moments this year for his sporting accomplishments, is followed by American Philip Dutton and Australia’s Christopher Burton.

Next in the elite rankings for the year is New Zealand’s Andrew Nicholson, USA’s Boyd Martin and two more New Zealanders — Mark Todd and Jonelle Price. Great Britain’s Oliver Townend is eighth, followed by Maxime Livio of France. Great Britain’s Nicola Wilson rounds out the top ten.

The FEI Classics Eventing circuit starts up again in the United States in the spring with the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event from 27-30 April 2017.
