The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) has named nine athlete-and-horse combinations to the squad for the European Observation Events as part of the selection process for the 2016 U.S. Olympic Dressage Team.
The athletes and their horses will compete in designated CDIO/CDI observation events taking place May 19 – June 26, 2016.The following athletes and horses have been named to the squad (in alphabetical order):Allison Brock (Loxahatchee, Fla.) with Claudine and Fritz Kundrun’s Rosevelt, a 2002 Hanoverian stallionShelly Francis (Loxahatchee, Fla.) with Patricia Stempel’s Danilo, a 2004 Hanoverian gelding, and Doktor, a 2003 Oldenburg geldingLaura Graves (Geneva, Fla.) and her own Verdades, a 2002 KWPN geldingArlene “Tuny” Page (Wellington, Fla.) and her own Woodstock, a 2003 KWPN geldingKasey Perry-Glass (Orangevale, Calif.) with Diane Perry’s Goerklintgaards Dublet, a 2003 Danish Warmblood geldingSteffen Peters (San Diego, Calif.) with Four Winds Farm’s Legolas 92, a 2002 Westphalian gelding, and Rosamunde, a 2007 Rheinlander mareGuenter Seidel (Cardiff, Calif.) with James and Charlotte Mashburn's Zero Gravity, a 2004 Dutch Warmblood geldingCombinations will be required to compete in two of the designated observation events.
