Split Rock Jumping Tour Announces Expanded 2020 Show Schedule

The Split Rock Jumping Tour (SRJT) is delighted to announce that its 2020 Tour is expanding with additional dates and new locations! Running from April to December, the sixth annual SRJT is presenting shows at seven world-class venues (with the possibility of one more)!

For the past five years, the SRJT has been revolutionizing the sport of show jumping in the U.S. and has been creating a truly "unparalleled show jumping experience" for competitors, sponsors and spectators alike. SRJT competitions offer top prize money, extravagant awards, special entry packages, and numerous first-class amenities not typically found at any other horse show.

In 2020, the Split Rock Jumping Tour is going to be bigger and better than ever before. The Tour will travel to such world-class locations as the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky; HIPICO Santa Fe in Santa Fe, New Mexico; Sonoma Horse Park in Sonoma, California; Brave Horse Show Park in Columbus, Ohio; and new venues at Pomponio Ranch in Rancho Santa Fe, California and the Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas with another possible new location to be announced soon.

“The SRJT has grown exponentially since its inception just a few years ago, and we are thrilled to announce our expanded 2020 Series,” said Derek Braun, Founder and CEO of the Split Rock Jumping Tour. “It is rewarding and exciting that our shows are now fixtures on the international equestrian calendar, and our plans for 2020 are going to bring the sport of show jumping to a whole new level!”

The Tour kicks off on April 7 with the debut of the $1.5 Million "Ante Up" Grand Prix, an event that will be televised LIVE NATIONALLY on NBCSN! The event, which will be held at Pomponio Ranch in Rancho Santa Fe, CA, will feature a unique format that currently does not exist in the sport of show jumping in America. A high stakes competition, it will consist of only 15 qualified riders who will compete for the largest purse in U.S. show jumping history. Having fewer riders competing will give each a better chance of winning show jumping’s biggest pay day.
The Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky will host the next two shows on the Tour. The third annual $225,000 Kentucky Invitational CSI3*, the highly popular 30-rider invitational, will again be held during the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event, April 24-25. The Lexington International CSI2*, formerly held at Split Rock Farm just down the road, will also be held at the Kentucky Horse Park, May 20-24, giving exhibitors a chance to compete at the Kentucky Horse Park in a way that they’ve never experienced before!

The Santa Fe International CSI2*, which made its successful debut last year, will take place August 12-16 at HIPICO Santa Fe, New Mexico’s premier venue for a variety of equestrian events and a top venue for the Southwest’s horse show circuit.

The Sonoma International CSI2*, which has seen entries sell-out quickly in each of its first two years, returns to the Sonoma Horse Park, September 2-6. The Brave Horse Show Park in Johnstown, Ohio, will again host the Columbus International CSI2*, with just one week this year, running September 30–October 4.

The 2020 SRJT Tour culminates with one of its most prestigious events – The Fort Worth International CSI4*-W, which will take place December 16-20 at the Will Rogers Coliseum. Selected as one of just 8 events in the newly streamlined Longines FEI World Cup™ North American League, the show will host the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Ft. Worth, a qualifier which will help determine which North American riders qualify to go to the 2021 Longines FEI World Cup™ Finals in Gothenburg, Sweden.
