Jessica Springsteen wins Sweden H&M Grand Prix
After a successful weekend with placings in almost every class Jessica Springsteen (USA) finished off with a win in the CSI4* Sweden H&M Grand Prix in Stockholm.
With ten clears in the first round the riders really had to give it all in the jump off in Sunday’s 155 Grand Prix in Friends Arena.
Jessica Springsteen rode the ten year old chestnut mare Volage du Val Henry.
- I know she’s fast and really careful, so I tried my best to go full speed.
The American rider is not only this year’s Grand Prix winner, Springsteen was also crowned leading rider of the show. And she had only praise to give for the organisers, the arena and audience.
- I love the atmosphere in this arena and I love the Swedish audience. They are really knowledgeable and cheering on us all. I’d love to come back next year!
Harrie Smolders (NED) was placed second in the Grand Prix with Une de l’Othain. Last year’s winner, Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA) was placed third with Virtuose d’Eole
