And this year in 2019, we have also managed to achieve our goal through a culmination of a long process. Year after year, we have been adding continuous value to the event, in which we have put a lot of enthusiasm that has required a lot of effort”, he said during the presentation. In this respect, Entrecanales did not hesitate to thank the support and collaboration of Revuelta and the entire Spanish Equestrian Federation for their continuous support that has allowed these important world championships to take place in Madrid.
For Entrecanales, head of IMHW, which for its exceptional sports event, makes the capital of Spain a leader in equestrianism every year and is a must for fans around the world, it is not just the competition that attracts the people of Madrid, “What makes IFEMA Madrid Horse week stand out and different from other events is the fact that a multidisciplinary event, with a full range of equestrian disciplines, offering different types of horse entertainment that attracts all kinds of people, especially families where IFEMA celebrates with open arms”, he explains.

Entrecanales also took the opportunity to note that horse riding is the only true egalitarian sport, where women and men compete on equal terms and said that “the equestrian sport has a differentiating element, gender equality, which also influences the public, who, 9 out of 10 times, usually decide to return to this event once more”.
For her part, the paraolympic Alfonsina Maldonado, recounted her incredible and moving story about achieving her dream to become an Olympic athlete. “Horses were my first friends and accepted me as I was, they never discriminated against me, and from that moment, I was able to transform my pain into a dream until I reached the Olympic Games of Rio”, she explained, who also travels the world giving motivational speeches and conferences related to her story. “Every day you have to get up, and push yourself to achieve your dreams, because they won´t fall from the sky.
