Find out everything you need to know about EquiSure™, the new essential tool dedicated to the rider’s safety...
If you don’t want to go out for a trotting because you are worried about having an accident, IMInnov figured out how to make you feel at ease – thanks to EquiSure™, the first connected alert system using at the same time Bluetooth, GSM and GPS technologies. Launch on Kickstarter on October 10!
Horse riding is the third most practiced sport in France, but it is also one of the most dangerous one. When a rider goes out for a walk or a trotting, it is always very difficult to estimate the seriousness of his accident and to locate him. We also know that the first hour following the fall is the most important one. It is indeed vital to take care of the rider as soon as possible.
Based on this analysis, IMInnov has developed its new product EquiSure™. This is the first connected alert system dedicated to the rider’s safety. It is the first project that received the label ‘’ Innovative Project ‘’ by HIPPOLIA in the area of connected safety for the rider and their horse.
Emergency texts sent automatically
The use of the EquiSure™ system is very simple: the first beacon is fastened to the rider’s helmet and the second one is fastened to the horse’s bridle, without interfering with their freedom of movement. Thanks to a patented technology, the system detects the fall automatically.
"Our primary requirement when we designed EquiSure™ was to avoid using a string connected to the rider and the horse" explains Christophe Le Camus, CEO of IMINNOV.
If the rider is
In case of a serious accident, the system automatically sends an emergency text message with the GPS coordinate to the preregistered phone numbers on the application that is available with the system.
If the horse runs away, the rider and the registered persons will receive the GPS coordinates of his location. You can even ask whenever you want the accurate location of the horse in real time. You don’t need to worry anymore!
EquiSure ™, a mean to reassure your loved ones - before they even worry.
Beyond ensuring the safety of the rider, EquiSure™ also has another purpose: to reassure your relatives who are often aware of horseriding risks and worry to know that we go out alone. Thanks to EquiSure™, the rider can schedule text messages to be sent to his relatives during his outing to inform them in real time that everything is going well. He just has to record the phone numbers on the app. He can decide how often texts messages are sent.
A system for the isolated rider ... but not only!
The main target of the EquiSure™ system is the “isolated” rider, but you can use it in many other situations.
Indeed, the EquiSure™ system has an option that allows you to send voluntarily a text message in case of any problem. An ideal functionality for the riding teacher facing a crisis when he is outside with his riders; he can warn out another member of staff or the stable manager ... by simply pushing the SOS button on his own system.
One can also imagine that someone who keep their horses at home could get this system in order to be able to contact another person in case of emergency. It is also interesting for a professional to feel safe in his own structure.
Moreover, a person going riding very late in the evening or very early in the morning, when the stables are empty, can feel more secure thank to the the EquiSure™ system.
The best technologies are affordable
EquiSure™ uses the best technologies, especially for geographical localisation, with a precision of less than 10 meters.
In addition, IMInnov, aware of the network issues, has developed a tracking system that works even without a GSM or GPS signal. Even more security, even for the rider who goes into deep forest.
EquiSure™ has been designed to be accessible to a large audience. EquiSure™ will be sold around € 300.
However, you can benefit from the launch price during the fundraising campaign.
See you soon to discover EquiSure™!
EquiSure™ will be at the fair EQUITA LYON, from November 1st to november 5th. Come and visit us : Stand K5, Hall 2.
